One Small Seed Newsletter – Edition #244

Friends,
I’d like to talk about “The Way” this month. Jesus said, “I am The Way, the Truth, and the Life,” in John 14:6 and I believe that everyone that professes to be a child of God has a responsibility to show the world this Way, through the gift that God has given them. The Bible is very explicit on the details of what the Way is about and why God emphasized this term in His relationship to us. There are many ways that are taught by religious leaders, but according to Christ there is only one way. Before we get to that we must figure out where is the beginning and where is the end?
In Revelation Jesus said I am the beginning and the end, the first and the last. One aspect of this means, he was a major part of the creation of the universe and he was the major part of the new creation, through the work he performed while he was in flesh, even up to the coming of the Holy Spirit of Truth. Even though there are a couple of other applications, this one gives us the gist or the direction we need to go in, in order to wind up in the right place. Of course, the basic step on the Way is the first step of “believing.”
Believing is the most important step in the process, but it is one that the world fights against the hardest. They don’t want you to believe that there is a Sovereign God of the universe, that He is the creator of all things, that he is the provider of all positive things, that he is the source of Love, Light and Life and that he is the provider of the only true Way. The gods of this world don’t want us to “Believe” in the One and only true God, especially in the U.S.A. They taught in public schools for years that to Believe in the true God and it was He who created us, was a sham, when science was teaching that we evolved from the muck of a frog pond, and the beginning started with a big bang. When that didn’t catch on too easily, they bought some politicians and persuaded them to make a law that would make teachers law breakers if they taught the Truth in schools. They called their laws “Separation of Church and State” and “Freedom from Religion Act.” Then their banner became: look to us first, because we have the truth.
Now our people are being brainwashed with “only science is correct.” Didn’t we just go through a year of government confusion? Believe us, we have the right answers and many other hypocritical statements. I thought we couldn’t believe, all we have to do is blindly follow their way, but what they say doesn’t persuade me, it only gets my mind to thinking and this is what we should do. It is a God given right for us to use our own brainpower to reason, reckon, and understand. The wise man Solomon said, “In all of your getting, get understanding… in all of your getting, get wisdom.” These two things will open our eyes to the right path. Our forefathers who wrote the word of God, and the ones who wrote our Constitution had found the right path.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.”
We hold these truths to be self-evident that all men are created equal, and they are endowed by their creator with certain inalienable rights, among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.”
But there is a way, that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death (Proverbs 14:12). This is the way that the ungodly teach about. But the ungodly have a god and his name is called ignorance and he lives in the shadows preying on the lost, the troubled, and the misguided. His objective is to steal, kill, and destroy by any means. Every day the world succumbs to his powers and consequently they lose the ability to resist him.
Do we believe in God? If so, then the right way is to believe him. As for God, his way is perfect (Psalms 18:30). Pray this prayer of David: Give ear, O Lord, unto my prayer; and attend to the voice of my supplication. 10For thou art great; and do wondrous things: thou art God alone. 11Teach me thy Way, O Lord; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear (honor and respect) thy name. Amen. (Psalms 86)
The next step in the process is faith. A heart surrendering trust in God’s faithful abilities and powers. Don’t ever distrust or doubt his love to all, he will bless you. Jesus said, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life”; and I believe. Amen
Your friend in Christ,
Rodney
