Greetings in Jesus’ name:
May is the month that the earth comes awake in my location. The ground starts to warm, the flowers are in bloom, and the air is refreshing but full of pollen. In our region the trees begin to go dormant in October and then we can start planting the following May; but in between those periods of time, there is winter. There are never two years alike, at least two years in a row, but it probably would become boring if every year was alike.
The key word for the human animal is adaptability. My question is: What is easier to adapt to, climate change or to try to adapt the climate to us? There are many things that each of us must adapt to in order to survive in a people environment. A good example of adapting is when a man and woman get married. The first have to adapt to each other and then adapt to each other’s family and friends. Then, when children come along, boy is there adjusting to do.
There are two words to remember when dealing with adapting: One is acclimate and the other is acclimatize; which is in essence, learning to adjust to whatever the temperature or circumstances are. It’s similar to a compromise or as the word on the street is, “embrace the differences”. I know the Bible says, “Love your neighbor as yourself”, but there is a Godly definition of Love that the world does not understand. First, the Word tells me to shun the influences of evil, ignorance, and spite. Second, the Word tells me to be wise; and that means to outsmart the adversary. Jesus did this many times by avoiding the ones who sought to stone him. Didn’t Jesus tell his disciples that they were in the world, but not of the world. The idea is that “there is a time and a season for every purpose under the sun”. A time to acclimate and a time to turn up or down the thermostat. A time to put on a coat and a time to take the coat off. A time to love your neighbor and a time to hate your neighbors actions, attitudes, and opinions. At this time we must do our best to show a Godly spirit and do our best to communicate a higher love. This love is based upon what God has commanded us to pursue.
I may have to adjust to the changes that the world tries to throw at me, but I don’t conform to them. If they have liberties and rights, so do I. I have decided that God is the right one for me to conform to and he has provided the right path for me to follow. It’s called the Word of God in the Bible and His name is Jehovah Saves. This is what the name Jesus means in the Hebrew language. While our country is trying to legalize every abomination of God that’s plainly spelled out in his word, true Christians are groaning in their spirit, soul and mind.
The Apostle Paul said, I know nothing but to preach Christ and him crucified, and I tend to follow that wisdom. Don’t be confused about the man Christ and the offspring of God Christ. The man Christ died on the cross to reconcile use to the Father God. The offspring of God Christ sit on the throne with his Father and has invited us to sit there with him and in him forever. But in order to be there, there are a few things we must do that pleases him, for example: He said that we must love God and love our neighbor as our self. He has given to us a recipe book that is filled with good recipes that will keep us healthy, wealthy and wise. The book is the Bible, the author is Jehovah and we know Jehovah saves. God bless.
Your friend in Christ,
