One Small Seed Newsletter – Edition #274, February 2024

My one small seed this month begins with the statement: God is not an intruder. Even though he is omnipresent and is and can be everywhere all the time, there are a few places that he will not go. I know David said, “if I make my bed in hell, he is there”, but God said that hell was prepared for the devil and his angels. The devil’s angels are those that distribute lies, all evil works, and seek to steal, kill, and destroy. All of this is disgusting and nauseating to God, but as Jesus told God in his prayer in John 17, “they are in the world, but not of the world”. The commandments of God, the truth of God, and the consequences of rebellion, are all in hell stirring up the flames of punishment. They that are there can’t blame God because he did everything he could to keep everyone from going there and being there.
God is love and cannot be blamed for man’s transgression. Even Adam and Eve can’t be blamed, even though they were the first to transgress God’s law. God had to create man, to establish a population on earth, but he didn’t create a disobedient animal, who only lived by instincts, he created a human in the image of an animal that could think, process, calculate, invent and choose on his own. Besides being in the image of an animal God blew into his nostrils the breath of life and man became a living soul. This made humans unique in the animal kingdom but also in the heavenly kingdom.
God gave man a will, which would be his private place and God, nor the devil, have a right to be there unless, they are invited in. God waits for the invitation to come in to man’s soul, but the devil, being the prince of the air, will do any evil, ungodly, unlawful, unhealthy, and deadly thing to get in. But the choice is up to man and woman which one they want to live in their soul. God has gone out of his way to bring the right way into the world. He died on the cross to reconcile and redeem the souls of mankind back to himself. He left the world with a long history of God’s grace and truth and he even placed into man’s world a helper and one to walk beside them. This comforter and teacher is the Holy Spirit of truth. One thing to remember though, is the fact that God won’t live in an unclean vessel, so if the devil is there, God won’t be there. God wants a holy vessel to live in.
God never forces himself into man’s will. He gently whispers to a mind that hears the Gospel truth, the sounds of his grace, his mercy, and love. He opens up the door of understanding, if only for a moment, to reveal the good news of God and the joy of knowing him. If in that brief moment the will decides to reject, the door is instantly closed, but never locked. The same circumstances can occur over and over again, but if “Will” should choose to accept, the door remains open, flooding the soul with Godly knowledge and wisdom.
As long as there is a door standing open to our will, God can enter at his will, but I believe he will gently knock or announce his presence. Then we can meet him there with open arms, in humbleness of mind, with deep respect for who he is and what he means to us. With this same humbleness of mind we submit unto his will and in the process we are raptured into God’s Kingdom, with all the glory of him inside of us and we are then at one with him and the rest of his family. May God bless you.
